Times are strange and Times have changed !!!

We waited for it, and guess what? We (read ECE) finally got to taste the epicurean lifestyle which earlier had CSE written all over it, thanks partially to the teachers we have in this semester and the rest can be attributed safely to the uberawesome performance of our stalwarts (read Chussus) who were busy bracing themselves for the campus recruitments, and that meant that even we had that extra leverage to miss those sleep inducing lectures. And so now I get to spend a chunk of my time in my room doing my stuff, wait a minute!!! MY STUFF!!! For me that meant only one thing ever since third year began (stop running around your dirty minds, you pervs ), it was all about being on Facebook, and damn we have it banned in our college.

As soon as you tried to enter the gateways of Nirvana, you were shoved back down. And this is not just my story, it sent a shock wave in the entire college, there were people who were worse hit, people who were half way through in their pursuit of enticing the opposite sex, they had to start from the scratch again, there were others who claim to be in an even bigger predicament (not able to connect to the NIT Placement group on Fb, now that’s tough :P )

Some people thought of this^ decision by the administration to lure Google to visit our campus, but the only thing that we got was GOOGLE PLUS, and that at best can only be described as an ersatz when it comes to replacing Fb, Quality is more important and G+ lacked it big time, A home run is always better than two doubles.

In came Twitter, and after spending my last two days on it I can tell you just one thing, it’s like talking to yourself, I know I will come under a lot of flak for this statement of mine, but twitter is definitely not the abode for the Thapar Gypsy. Coming to the point #twitterSucks.

And so finally what do I have on my hands, NOTHING!!!!

This boredom has forced me to stoop down so low that I am here writing my first blog post, I just pray to God that normalcy returns and facebook starts working again in Thapar. And I hope many of you will pray alongside me, This is definitely nobler than any other cause I found myself vying for. And i bet you don't want another blog post from this author so better start Praying.
